Aerobic Wastewater Bacteria - Clean Water Superstars

Every month, the Vermont's Clean Water Initiative Program highlights a " Clean Water Superstar", species that help keep waters swimmable, drinkable, and fishable. Recently they headed to a wastewater treatment facility to showcase aerobic bacteria. Ranging in size from a half a millionth of a meter to two millionths of a meter, these organisms are too tiny to be seen with the naked eye, but they have a big impact on water quality.
