From the South, Essex Ferry or Crown Point Bridge:

Take Route 22 (North) to Willsboro. Turn north on Farrell Road between the Town Hall and Champlain National Bank. **Turn sharp right on Point Road some 200 yards beyond the Town Hall/Bank. Continue on Point Road about 3/4 mile past the school fields, past the River Road intersection and past the Willsboro Golf Course, all on your right. Immediately beyond the Golf Course, turn right between two stone pillars down a private drive. Follow signs about a mile to Flat Rock Camp which is directly on the lake.

From the North/Interstate 87:

From Interstate 87, take Exit 33 marked Willsboro, Lewis & Keeseville NY22, US 9. Follow Route 22 straight ahead, east, from the exit ramp to Willsboro for about seven miles.  In Willsboro, cross the railroad tracks and look for the Town Hall on the left.  Turn left (north) just in front of the bank on Farrell Road and follow the directions from the asterisks *** above.

Approximate driving times: From the Crown Point Bridge – 45 minutes, from the Essex Ferry – 15 minutes, from Plattsburgh – 30 minutes, from Interstate 87 - 25 minutes

Ferry Schedule: The Charlotte-Essex ferry departs every 30 minutes from Vermont between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm and from New York between 6:30 am and 8:30 pm.  The Grand Isle – Plattsburgh ferry departs roughly every twenty minutes.  (For additional schedule information call 802-864-9804.)  Each-way rates for both ferries are $9.50/car and driver, $3.75/adult passenger, $1.50 children (6-12), children under 6 are free.
